  When I saw the name mama jean's I expected home cooking, but there's nothing but frozen and deep fried stuff here, it's ok I recon, I thought about trying the burger but figured it would be a frozen processed meat patty with fillers. the waitress was really nice tho and the place was clean. That makes any problems with the menu easy to correct. As a trucker I'm sick of processed frozen deep fried foods, perhaps offer something like fried green tomatoes, homemade spaghetti, home made chili, home made meat loaf, home made goulash, home made beef stew, etc... all are relatively inexpensive to make and easy to make as well. Hope they make some changes, like rip up the carpet maby, , and dont over salt the new recipes if they do add new items. Most restaurants using way too much salt. Once there's too much salt it's too late, it's better to let customers mess up their own food with salt lol. There's plenty of hope for this restaurant. with a little tlc it could be a great success.

  Very good. Wanted somthing different, this was the place. Ordered chicken tenders plate. Real breaded tenders. Fish was very good as well.

  Good home cookin', friendly folks.
  Truck parking and showers.
  Get food from the restaurant, it's open 24 hours.
  I wouldn't recommend the food from the hot case by the fuel island.
  Catfish is very good and the burgers and handmade patties and are excellent.

  Great place to park for tractor trailers and the food is good. I definitely liked the fried whole catfish.
